seeing as olga.net isn’t good for tabs

Olga.net is a guitar site, for which I wrote a script, earlier. For some reason (probably a legal one), olga doesn’t post lyrics.

The below (rough draft) gets tabs from aztabs, a better repository, with no compunction to elide lyrics.

Use this program as:

perl aztabs.pl http://www.aztabs.com/p%5Cphish/

where the URL is the artist URL.

Note: the script isn’t that good, as it is a rough draft.

Graphviz

If you’re looking for a program to convert plaintext input to directed or undirected graphs, you should use AT&T’s freeware program graphviz. It’s what BuddyZoo uses.

Blogroots has a quick link and comments about more newsreaders. Maybe some of these would be good, Will?

Schwarzenegger’s politics

The only lead I’ve found about Arnold’s political leanings is in this Yahoo! News article (via Counterspin) where it is confirmed that Arnold voted for California’s proposition 187. Apparently 187 restricting immigrants coming to California.

187 is an exceptionally bad number for a proposition, by the way.

the blogosphere’s hard to leave

I went without internet access for four days. As a result, I had around 400 headlines to skim this morning (at cafe cyclo), 75 of which I’m about to read in depth.
