I’ve been complaining (to myself) that my battery life has gone down from 3 hrs at full charge to 2:30.
While doing some processor-intensive things, I started monitoring the CPU with UNIX’s top command.
Guess what? iChatStatus and Synergy, two useful programs, were running. For iChatStatus, I wasn’t on-line. I killed the two of them plus iTunes and average load went from 2.8 to 0.6.
At least it’s not the battery…
