My friend John is coming along, username “wilson”. Look for his posts here! (Thus the name change to “John Borwick & co.”)
I read LOTS of blogs (ca. 450 entries) today.
Also, what is Google doing creating GFS (the Google File System)?
Star Trek: The Next Generation is going to come out on DVD. It’s called “The Borg Megacube” and it’s 48 DVDs.
The Acme::VerySign module (along with all the Acme::* modules) is a joke. If a subroutine isn’t found, the IP address of sitefinder.verisign.com will be returned.
I get my service via rootr.com. While it’s a good deal ($30/month for control over your own apache server), I don’t know if I need it anymore since robotladybug isn’t doing so well and I don’t need the power. So I’m considering whether to go to a cheaper service that just gives me CGI access (to keep movable type running).
Maybe a virtual server? This one’s only $20/month and you get 3 gb of hard drive space!
