I have a “non-influenza respiratory virus” or something like that. My temperature without medicine has been around 102.5 degrees F.
I did have a flu shot this year. I think the reason flu was ruled out was because I still have very high O2 levels. Or something.
The doctor said I should expect to be out for pretty much the rest of the week. My treatment: over-the-counter ibuprofen (800 mg every 8 hours), prescription cough syrup, and 28 liters of Sprite.
