Tonight I happened across the TV program “One Ocean View,” on ABC. I didn’t watch much. Basically a bunch of young twenty- and maybe thirty-somethings live in a house together for a summer.
MTV’s “Real World” is the first reality TV show I can remember–and it has been essentially self-sustaining, continuing to run since the early 1990s. “One Ocean View” is ABC’s premiering show that has exactly the same premise.
I bet if ABC bought syndication rights to MTV’s “The Real World” season one they could show it and it would do as well.
I don’t know much about pool tricks or how to do them, but this youtube video of some pool tricks really impresses me. How do you get a ball to spin like that?!
How does iTunes (6.0.5 for Mac OS X) know when I move one of the music files out of the library?
I just used the “mv” command to move some files out of my iTunes library. I then went to the song “Info” in iTunes and it knew the new path to the file. What you say?!
For the record, Lauren is all about “Getting Things Done” now.
Well, we’re off to Belize in a week with my dad’s family! We’re pretty excited about the trip and actually not having to worry about anything for a week.
I checked out a copy of Core Performance, per Chethan’s recommendation. Actually, I inter-library-loaned it: WFU got my copy from Wake Public Libraries. I guess not very many universities care about exercise programs.
Anyways, I’m pumped up about getting a “stability ball.”
Is the Core Performance website worth using? I tried to do a “free trial” but the SSL certificate is invalid and I could never get past step one.
I just got two Netflix movies in the mail: Soylent Green and Sweeny Todd.
David has another music video.
He kind of reminds me of this character in Oz (HBO’s maximum security prison drama). The one who grew his fingernails out so that he could kill someone with them.
I drink a lot of liquid. Today, for example, I have definitely drunk over a gallon of liquids. Usually, my chief drinks are orange juice, chocolate soy milk, cherry doctor pepper, and lemonade. I try to drink water, and at work I do drink a lot of water, but at home water starts to bore me pretty quickly.
Drinking a half-gallon of orange juice in a day, however, has its disadvantages: caloric intake, for example. I’m guessing a half-gallon of OJ is at least 1000 calories.
This weekend I’m experimenting with flavored water instead. I’ve got lime, lemon, grenadine (cherry), and cranberry flavors. I’m hoping that flavored water will cost me less over time, and that I’ll stop having “drink meals.”
I’m surprised at how satisfying a glass of “lime water,” with around 1 tsp lime juice, is to drink.
Watch Phil Donahue make Bill O’Reilly mad. This is essentially what he did at Lauren’s graduation.
