I’m feeling a bit better now. Lauren and I opened a bunch of wedding presents yesterday so we should be sending out thank-yous this week and next. We then cleaned out the apartment, boxing up our older dishes and putting in place some of our new gizmos.
This weekend I’m going camping at Stone Mountain; I’m really excited because I hope to start camping around once a month!
Lauren and I just got back yesterday (Saturday Oct 21) from Kenya. We stayed in Malindi for a week, then we went on Safari to the Tsavo East, Amboseli, and Tsavo West parks, and then we stayed in Mombasa our last night before flying back Friday & Saturday.
I picked up some kind of viral upper-respiratory thing on Thursday. We went to the doctor today to verify that it’s not some horrible disease; they said I’m fine but I’ll be out of commission a few days.
